No style used to my knowledge. I have never used sheers so wanted to experiment. I was pleased with the transparency effect as I added layers. Originally, I had an iridescent center but then wished I had used orange so colored the center with paint sticks.

I really like the transparency and richness which you were able to create in this piece. The stitching on the outer petal adds a lot of interest and dimension to the work. Nice job!

You have put the flower in the center of the quilt, what if you put it out of center? Could it add interest to the piece?
Yes, I thought about cutting off two sides for on off center, partial flower. May still do it as it would add more interest. Thanks. Pam
This is a lovely experiment and I hope you'll use it in the future. You mentioned using orange. I wonder what it would look like if you'd added a round of sheer orange petals around the center?
I agree about cropping a bit, but I love the petals extending off the edge of the piece too! Working with sheers is one of my favorite things, and you've done a beautiful job!
