Deb

I am not sure if I followed the loop procedure correctly.  This  is created as  to represent a picture in a  picture album. To do this I uploaded 2 pics, one with album open and 1 with it closed. I used a photo  and transferred it to fabric  the back ground is upholstery fabric sample, this was free motion embroidery.  I wanted this to look a bit 3 D. The cover is made to look like a door ( door is cotton fabric, loops ribbon with felted balls to hook on.)  Around her neck Deb wears a necklace made out of an old garnet  ear ring.

I had fun with this challenge just doing my own thing. When an idea pops into my head I reach in pull it out and hope for the best. Comments will be appreciated.  I look forward to seeing what everyone has created.

What a cute idea, Susan! There's no right or wrong around here, just grab the idea and run with it, like you did. I really like the abstract design on the cover, too. Will this be a gift for it's namesake?

Like Sharon said, there isn't a "right or wrong." You used loops (quite nicely) and the cover IS dynamic...Love it! I love the concept too, and think you could make more than one page in your photo album.

Wonderful. The book idea is really nice.I'm thinking it also might be used for a birthday, anniversary, wedding or other special ocasion.

What an imaginative and fun picture book/frame! The upholstery fabric looks wonderful as well as the felted balls used to hook the loops over. Great job!

Susan, a good example of taking what you wanted to take from the challenge. I'm curious as to how big your piece is, I'm thinking it must be fairly small, given the size of the earring pendant.

Making a book out of this project was a great idea. I also like the use of fabrics.
