Button-snatchers

I caught these Spotted Owl  button-snatchers with my night-vision goggles.  They are lining their nests with our buttons.  Don't they look guilty?  Is this an environmental concern?  The owls are pastel tones.  The piece is 12" x 14", commercial fabrics.  Thank you for your comments.  I hope you all have fun with this challenge.

Linda this is so cute. The colored owls and the wonderful buttons are cool. I like the idea of using them as eggs:)

I am working on a similar yet different theme, so of course I love what you have done. :)

I like the realistic tree trunks and how the cartoon owls stand out in contrast. And the way they line the nest with the stolen buttons certainly fulfills the story line. Thanks for this challenge!

Linda, what a cute story and you owls are wonderful. I agree that the background compliments the cartoon like owls. The buttons for eyes and eggs are a great use of button embellishment.
