Took me a while to see the connection with the tree canopies...lol. I especially like the jumping fish and fishing bear.I love the color progression, I think it gives a nice sense of depth and dimension...Love it!
CherieCherie in Del Marhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17232111354262007447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34360380.post-28175885209640889072010-07-08T19:59:27.241-05:002010-07-08T19:59:27.241-05:00Very interesting use of a bargello background. I think I would have enjoyed it a bit more if your bargello sections had been a bit larger(longer)and you had used fewer fabrics for the background. The 20 fabrics makes the bargello it a bit busy, and I can see where the strata without the applique wouldn't have pleased you, the trees esp add a design feature that links and ties all of the of background colors together. Hope you get settled in soon.

Kathy Walkerfastfridayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17596446372371371290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34360380.post-43131908826940171792010-07-05T13:54:17.606-05:002010-07-05T13:54:17.606-05:00Linda, I agree that your additions really made the...Linda, I agree that your additions really made the piece, especially the tall tree trunks.
