Itsy bitsy teeny weeny
This is a postcard, just a tiny exercise for the monochromatic challenge. Instead of using the color in the song title as the main color, I used the yellow polka dot bikini as the accent color, 10% or less of the total area.
Katie this is just so fun! Your water fabric is perfect, love the quilting in the clouds, and the bikini is just too cute! I love that you flip-flopped the colors. good work on this challenge...
It really is a cute postcard! Small is good - especially when we are in a time crunch! It almost gives me the feel of the invisible woman laying there - she is too skinny though! That would be my only critique!
Very fun! It makes me want to get out my postcard supplies and make postcards. I also like how there's a bit of mystery--where is the girl and how did her bikini get out there in the dark ocean! laura k
Yes, it does make you wonder what kind of trouble (or fun) this bikini wearer is into while her bikini floats without her. Perhaps a tryst with the lifeguard and a wave washes her bikini out to sea? Sounds like a romance novel!
Very creative response to the challenge! And a good reminder that we can learn even from a teensy weensy piece.
I look forward to seeing more of your work, Katie.
