This is a fabric and embellishment collage with no specific area of focus. In looking at it myself, I observe my eye move around the piece locating the various round areas but beyond that they don't seem to rest on any particular location in the piece. Does this meet the challenge?

A blue hat? Are you looking at it from further away in order to see that type of shape?

I can't see the blue hat? But ah yes, more is certainly more :-) I like it a lot, Cay! The eye really travels, always something new to see, and the colors are great!

ReplyDeleteI think you have definitely met the challenge! Very nice piece; lots of visual interest and movement. I absolutely love the contrasting turquoise blue; seems very tropical to me. (I don't see a "hat" but I do see the letter "A"). Great job!

ReplyDeletethis is a wonderful example of More is More. The piece bewitches the viewer into seeing all manner of things, and the complimentary color scheme is so pleasing. One's imagination can make out all kinds of items - thats whats so great about abstract compositions - they open the door to a world of possibilities. I want this for my wall too! Joni
