Savor Every Second

I painted and quilted circles to form a color vision test that emphasizes 86400, the number of seconds in a day.

  1. I'm so glad you found your way to post your piece! I like that the piece is circular, as well as having circles as the shape you used. I could wish the number was either more centered or more irregular so as not to seem like it should be centered.

  2. Wow! You went to a lot of work on this piece! I like it and it does indeed show an eye test like at the driver's license bureau. Your quilting is great emphasizing all those circles. Where do you plan to hang your 'time' piece? Great job!

  3. Very fun, Meena. It's Ishihara to the next level (that's the color blind test...).... great detailing and quilting. I wonder if any of our FFC folks are color blind! Great color choices and use of the circle motif.

  4. Thanks for the feedback.
I tried to make it like other color vision tests examples I studied. I also made it as a possible submission for Sacred Threads. It looks good in a mat and frame but ofcourse since they don't accept frames, I have to think of something else besides a fabric circular frame before I can adapt it to submit.
