Love
This is shown in a vortex sort of way showing loving hands encircling a couple. All fused and stitched to show features.
I am enticed to look at this quilt again and again...the faces are haunting and I enjoy the circling effect. I love quilts that are thought provoking! Chris Predd
What a fascinating idea. The colours of the hands and the way they convey a holding movement is very effective. I wonder about the darker fabric on the right of the man's face, especially by the nose. Maybe it is a stronger contrast in the photo than it is in reality.
Another artistic masterpiece! I love the way the hands seem to be conveying such love and comfort. I don't know how you come up with such wonderful ideas, but I guess it helps to just be naturally talented. Great job! Pam Clark
all I can say is WOW!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, both the faces and the circle of hands.

Jan, the faces have so much emotion and then the rings of hands add movement and depth. Wow! What a beautiful piece.

ReplyDeleteGreat job Jan. Love that nearly all lines in the piece and shapes are all curves. Thanks for participating!
