Solitude
Here it is. I think I got the solitude o.k. but abstract on purpose is still something I struggle with.
I don't really remember what the sky fabric is. Years ago I was playing with dropping paints into a pan with some kind of mixture, swirling it around and laying the fabric on top. I think that is probably what it is.
Great sky fabric!! I see a patient fisherman. To me, it's a great fishing scene. I like the texture of all the grasses and between the movement of the sky and grasses, one can visualize a slight breeze-- perhaps just enough to keep the bugs at bay.
I really like this Betty! It is so much fun to just sit a gaze at it, there is so much to see. The colors are wonderful, and I love the wonky bottom shape.
I think you have done a great job with both, Betty. Your sky is definitely a representational abstract!
ReplyDeleteHi Betty, I agree...you met the challenge on both parts. Cool piece! What is that wonderful sky fabric?

It might have been magic dip.

Excellent work. The color and details allowes me to sit in your garden:)
ReplyDeleteGreat colors and shapes. I tried marbelizing this way but it didn't turn out nearly as good as yours. Makes a wonderful sky.
