I love your use of color, pattern and texture. All three create a certain illusion of movement. Does it have a story behind it, and what size is it? ANN
Thank you Ann. The size is about 17" x 17". As for a story, all I can say is that there is a fabric representation of a pair of hands (palms side up) in the center.
Wow this is a grat response to the challenge! I like how the black waves contrast with the coloured ones. The fabric pattern adds even movement. great job!
Wonderful movement in this piece, with your choice of fabrics. I have the feeling as if this is only the center of a much much bigger quilt, with the shapes simply expanding to infinity!
