Falling leaf
When I am falling asleep and fall it is a gentle slow descent. It feels like a leaf falling from a tree. This tree is all thread painted. The first border is hand dyed.
A wonderful job of thread-painting the tree -- on first glance I assumed they were either painted or applique. I like how the outer border picks up on the center yellow and green shades.
Wow I wish I could thread-paint like you did! I like your colour choice and the meaning of the quilt but the most intriguing detail is the 3D leaf. It really adds interest and attract attention! Thank you for your reply to the challenge!
Beautiful. I especially like the 3D leaf.
