Nine Path by Penny Irwin
8.5"X 11" Made from several abandoned 9patch blocks. I randomly cut them apart and selected a few to re-assemble on some black Kona.
Hi Penny, Love those summery colors...reminds me of a lounge chair poolside with pots of geraniums around. I like the shapes and how you put them together. Good job! Cynthia

This piece is cheery with its lively colors.
ReplyDeleteYour shapes are interesting... reminds me of a map, and holiday time!!
Good job.

Your original nine patches were very traditional in a very low contrast color scheme.
ReplyDeleteYour second version is very organic and contemporary looking. The higher contrast adds a lot of visual impact.
