Also finished something for the Under the Sea Challenge 43. I've been taking a painting on fabric class at Quilt University which has been really fun. I painted some fish which came out really nice - a trout and a salmon. Then I stitched them to add dimension. Shown is the salmon and the trout.

Kathy, your fish are wonderful! I'm going to have to look into taking a fabric painting class, your results are impressive. Did you also paint the fabric used for the rocks in the one piece, or is it from your stash? It's very effective.
Thanks so much Joni, for your kind comments. The painting class was so fun - it's opened up new ideas for me. The rocks and seaweed are commercial fabrics. Everything else - water and fish - I painted.
