Army of Ants

It has been a long while since I have been able to do a challenge.  Many life changes that have prevented me from quilting.   I hope to catch up and look forward to next year.

I didn't really fully read the challenge, I checked the first link and immediately thought of an army of ants.  We have many ants that march along our sidewalk.

Final size 8 1/2 x 10 inches.

Very nice, Lisa. I particularly like your background as it also demonstrates repetition.

This is a great graphic piece! The black ants grab my attention first and then the background speaks to me. I like the randomness of it, so free and organic. A very nice job!

Love the beaded ants

Your army as depicted certainly fills the "repetition" part of the challenge, as does the background as well. This is a fun piece, good job!

Very clever! Looking at it close up really is superb. While you've depicted ants, I love the abstracted aspect which you get the feeling of ants, but it is very industrial. Love the monochrome palette!

Glad that we have two Lisa's who have been among the missing, but are back!
