I love the sleet. The snow batting is cleaver, but I think I would distort it more. Is the sky fabric found? or painted?

I love it. It feels like a sleet storm in a remote farm. The barn looks 3d. It has a bit of a surreal feel. Maybe a couple leafless trees??

The storm is very vivid here. The sky and the sleet stitching work really well. I find there is a bit of a tussle going on between the two buildings, vying for attention. I might consider cutting it into half and having a diptych.

The detail in the clouds is what drew my eye first; it overwhelms the merely human-created buildings. I would rather have seen these as more distant, part of a lonely landscape dominated by the rain and sleet. I do like the lit window in the house, suggesting staying snug and warm during the storm.

Those storm clouds are ominous.. This piece is so unique it would be wonderful in a children's story book. Have you ever considered doing something along this line?

Thank you for your comments.
My computer was in the hospital so this is the first time I've seen them.

The sky was already on the fabric...not painted.

No, I never even thouht of doing anything like that for a children's book.
