Hi Pat, I added your original piece next to your reworked piece so that we can really appreciate the differences. It looks wonderful (and a much better photo, too) The quilting lines add interest and movement and I love how the blue netting toned down the red. The hand stitching and edging emphasize the folk art feel of this piece ...very nice!
I always admire someone who can go back and do some reworking...it takes courage and persistence, and you can learn so much. Good job!

Hi Pat - I am amazed at the difference your changes made to this piece. The darker background helps push the featured birds to the front. And all your quilting adds a nice touch. I really like the hand-stitching and how it emphasizes the bird shapes. Great job of taking some suggestions and making them your own.
