This quilt is based on a photo of my niece sitting on a sand dune. So far the top is only fused, not quilted. It is approx. 24" x 24". The shadows and some of the marks on the sand were done with sheers.

This is lame are a critique...but I love it! I will look forward to seeing it quilted, I think you can add a lot of interesting textures with it.

Lovely piece! I don't think it will need much quilting since too much would take away from the simple beauty of the quilt.
