Solitude
Here it is. I think I got the solitude o.k. but abstract on purpose is still something I struggle with.

I think you have done a great job with both, Betty. Your sky is definitely a representational abstract!
Hi Betty, I agree...you met the challenge on both parts. Cool piece! What is that wonderful sky fabric?

Very interesting piece, there is a lot to draw the eye.

Thank you everyone.
I don't really remember what the sky fabric is. Years ago I was playing with dropping paints into a pan with some kind of mixture, swirling it around and laying the fabric on top. I think that is probably what it is.
It might have been magic dip.

Excellent work. The color and details allowes me to sit in your garden:)
Great colors and shapes. I tried marbelizing this way but it didn't turn out nearly as good as yours. Makes a wonderful sky.

Great sky fabric!! I see a patient fisherman. To me, it's a great fishing scene. I like the texture of all the grasses and between the movement of the sky and grasses, one can visualize a slight breeze-- perhaps just enough to keep the bugs at bay.
I really like this Betty! It is so much fun to just sit a gaze at it, there is so much to see. The colors are wonderful, and I love the wonky bottom shape.
