This challenge was very challenging for me, despite being the hostess. I had lots of fun and learnt much; even though it may not be evident from the result.
Uluru is the aboriginal name for Ayer's Rock in Central Australia. A hot place, hence I chose orange as my colour.
Dingoes are associated with Uluru for many reasons...some of them malevolent. Hence the evil stare.
Any comments welcome,
Anna.

Wow! The sense of heat and the tension in that stare are very strong...great use of color to evoke an emotional response!
Anna this is a very intense piece! Great job.
Anna, nice piece! You leave no doubt that this is a dessert scence.
Wow...you can see the heat roiling in the sky! I love your Dingo...His eyes are indeed evil, and the pointy legs really add to that notion. Great job Anna, and thanks for a wonderful challenge.

Anna,
I could feel the heat before I knew the location! Good use of orange and a very evil-looking dingo.
Hi Anna - This work grabs me. Partly that is because of the rich color - I love vivid! But I am really drawn to the stylized dingo and his mean eyes and pointy paws. His stance is also aggressive. His size in comparison to Uluru creates an interesting perspective.
Thanks for a great challenge. I looked at each and every reference you listed with the challenge - this was super helpful information.
Hi Anna, so glad you chose a challenging color...Orange is hard to work with and you've done it wonderfully with intense hue, tones, shades and tints. There's some amount of perspective showing with the animal in front, then rocks then your island mountain in back. but gets a bit confusing with the sky, cloud and moon.
Overall it's an exciting, intense, textural piece with a sense of menancing mystery. I'd like to see your dingo again in the future!

Anna, I also love the vivid colors and menacing dingo.
Thank you very much for providing us with this challenge.
