Hi Betty,
I like the two different values for the greys for the shadows.....Chris Predd
Very realistic, and so appropriate for February! I'll bet you ate the chocolates first (+:
Yumm! My favorite subject LOL. Great depth and dimension Betty. What size is it? I like your quilting too.

Thank You.
It is 14-1/4" square.

Like this piece a lot. What if you added a couple of empty candy wrappers?
Hi Betty, I like that you angled the boxes to create more tension and interest in the composition. The big red box looks like it might need something more...what if you used some text on the box, like "chocolates, 2 lb." or something like that?
Betty Very pretty quilt. You got the Trompe L'oeil right. Nice for Valentines Day

I like the lace on the top box. Maybe adding some lace under the top box (on the bottom box) would add more interest. The gold satin stitch is very effective. Red is such a happy color and the contrast against the white background is very effective. Veronica Von Zwehl
Betty,
Very timely with Valentine's Day around the corner!
Your shadows are well done and your quilting very effective.
