What a beautiful christmas decoration! When you hang it from a single ring, how does it stay in a round...did you add something for stiffening? I love it as is...don't think you need to add anything.

Hi Cathy - This is lovely. I agree with Cherie in that it seems quite complete without adding a bow or beads. It is a great Christmas decoration - would look really good on my front door!

The individual flowers are quite firm...I fused the flower to batting then the batting is fused again to the backing, then with the zigzag and the quilting around each petal of the flowers,,. almost doesnt bend at all! After it is all stitched together it just retains the shape,,I thought it would collapse myself and was pleasantly surprised when it didn't!
I just love your wreath. I think I read that you made it as a Christmas present? If so, the recipients are very lucky.

This looks like a fun project. I agree that it doesn't need a bow. It's great the way it is.
Hi Cathy,
Don't you just love a dual purpose project? I've done that several times trying to get something done for a challenge and a show, too.
I love the wreath...I may make one sometime. If it were mine, I'd add some sparkle with silver and/or gold beads or swarvorski crystals in the center of some of the poinsettias.
Good job!

I think it turned out great. I agree that beads might be a nice addition in the centers. Lovely piece.

Thanks for the comments! I am going to try adding some glittery puff paint dots on some extra fabric I have and see what they look like (in the centers) and yes this is a Christmas gift for my brother and sil
Great job on the wreath! I like the idea about the sparkle in the centers too.
